      Keith Smith, President of Pete Smith Automotive, credits the community, and his family’s involvement in the community, for the company’s growth. As long time members and supporters of the Chamber of Commerce, Pete Smith Automotive has played an active role in attracting new businesses and families to the area. Smith has served on the school board, and is currently at the center of an effort to open a Boys & Girls Club in Franklin County. “I feel like we all belong to our community. It is my privilege to do anything I can,” Smith says.

Smith feels that thorough and continuous training is vital for success, and many of Pete Smith’s technicians have attained ASE certification. Requiring at least two years experience and successful completion of ACT administered testing, ASE is the nationally recognized standard of excellence in automotive repair.

Customers can enjoy a hot cup of coffee and other refreshment while they surf the internet via WiFi, or flip through one of many current magazines. Pete Smith staff reports that many customers spend their time simply relaxing on the leather couches, enjoying the tranquility of the fish filled aquariums!
